Lutron Quantum lighting and Sivoia automated-shading installations for the Bloomberg commercial offices in Cape Town and Sandton, Johannesburg.

We were proud to deliver a Lutron Quantum lighting control and Lutron Sivoia automated shading solution for this modern commercial office building.

A key challenge was blackout roller blinds on a series of angled windows. With no standard solution able to achieve the required light control, Eddie developed a bespoke design — hand-trimming each shade fabric to precisely match the window angles. Combined with custom side channels and discreet guide wires, this ensured smooth operation, a clean architectural finish and effective blackout performance.

The completed installation shows how thoughtful engineering and craftsmanship, together with Lutron’s technology, can overcome complex architectural challenges while delivering an elegant, high-performance lighting and shading solution.
